This is when the world shutdown! It was the middle of March and we were on spring break. There had been news reports of a new virus that was spreading across the country. It started in China. It was called the coronavirus or later, Covid 19. It was causing respiratory issues and in some cases, it was fatal. Schools decided to extend the break through the end of March. Grocery stores were running out of supplies because so many people were scared and staying home. The silliest thing that was flying off the shelves was toilet paper! Tony still went to work but the kids and I stayed home. Businesses were closed and there was no social life anymore. It was the weirdest thing. The kids and I tried to do a little reading and workbooks each day. We got creative with challenges, family game time and loved being outside. We were hoping to start school again in April.
