Family pictures

These were not that fun! Madden just wanted to be held the entire time, he was sucking his thumb and it was really windy that day ~ but we did manage to get a few good ones :)

Santa

Annual trip to see Santa at Bass Pro with the Klines. This year we added bowling to the night! Heisman told Santa that he wanted either a remote control robot or dinosaur and Madden just said robot (probably because Heisman did). We are excited for Christmas this year!

Halloween

We love Halloween! Not only do we get a TON of candy, but we get to spend it with the Klines and my cousin Heather and Kinley. The weather has been great the last few years so that makes it nice. Heisman chose to be a black ninja this year and Madden was Luigi at the last minute. He did not want anything to do with a costume until everyone else started getting into theirs.... We tried carving pumpkins this year and it was not that fun. Both boys hated the inside of the pumpkin. In fact, Madden was so grossed out he threw up! The carving didn't go well but the boys liked the end result.

UNI football

Our family and the Kline family attended a football game and UNI and the boys got to be kid captains and run out with the football team at the beginning of the game. We all had a lot of fun! It started with a family road trip to Cedar Falls. Tony was able to rent us a 12 passenger van for the drive. It was great! We had an awesome van with plenty of room and Tony brought his hot spot so the boys were able to each have their own tablet to keep them busy. Heisman really wanted to keep the van and was bummed when we took it back. Funny!

Two years old!!

Madden is two!! Crazy! He is such a funny kid and all boy. Loves to wrestle, run, kick, throw, shoot, etc. He likes to watch football with Tony and even joins in on a few T25 workouts as well. He still sucks his thumb and has Bolt as his lovey. He weighed 32.4 lbs and was 34.5 inches tall..... We celebrated at my mom's house with the extended family early and then had brownies at our house on the actual day.

Soccer

This fall Heisman played soccer. He did pretty well and scored a handful of goals too! He has come a long way from the first time he played soccer at 3 years old. It's fun to see the improvement. Madden loves to "watch" Heisman play. He does cheer every once in awhile but he's pretty busy running and kicking his ball on the sideline.

Pumpkin Patch

We took the boys to the Center Grove Orchard one day after school and we all had a blast! Heisman and I had been there a few times before but it was a first for Tony and Madden. We chose to go during the week to avoid the craziness and hundreds of other people. The favorites were definitely the big slide and jumpy pillow.
