Christmas

We had a great Christmas! The boys asked Santa for nerf ball guns and hatchimals. They asked us for an Xbox. We delivered! I think originally Heisman was most excited, but they both love it now. They kind of go in spurts where they play it for a few days in a row but then nothing for a few days. We had a marathon of Christmases again. A weekend in Algona, a few days in Mount Pleasant and then our house. Callaway enjoyed opening presents for a few minutes but she had her brothers help to finish up.

Heisman got glasses! He looks so handsome!

10 months

I was thinking that Callaway was going to walk before Christmas because she started pushing this big dump truck around the living room but she's not quite there yet. That's ok! She had her first ear infection, turned out being allergic to amoxicillin and had another ear infection (the original one probably never cleared up). We had a few rough weeks mid December thru the beginning of January. Hopefully ears don't become a problem. Still loves her brothers and has recently started playing peek a boo. She always laughs when someone else plays with her but now she covers her face and plays peek a boo with us.

Family pictures

We were in Algona for a family wedding on Saturday and raced home to take these family pictures before Heisman played his flag football game. The kids did really well. It took a few minutes for Callaway to warm up to Andrea but we did manage to get some adorable smiles from everyone.

Pumpkin patch

I took the boys to a different pumpkin patch this year. It has a lot of the same activities but it's just a little smaller. Plus, we tried the corn maze. This was a little more challenging than I thought and it was starting to get dark and a little cool so we only completed about half of it. Next year we will plan accordingly. Callaway hung at home with Tony and Grandma Dickinson.

Madden is four

Happy birthday Madden!!! This kid is just so much fun. He is such a lover and enjoys cuddling. He is silly and can always make you laugh. He loves being a big brother and he also looks up to Heisman and wants to be just like him (maybe even better than him because everything is a competition). I would say the favorite birthday gift this year was a nerf bow and arrow. We had friends over the celebrate and took treats to school. We just love Madden so much!

Nine months

We now have eight teeth! What?! Plus Callaway has been pulling herself up more and standing along the couch and places. We've started a little finger foods and she is doing well with those. Callaway was also a part of our annual Christmas shopping trip and she was such a trooper! We shopped all day and she even had a red shirt just like the rest of us. Tony took the boys to Mount Pleasant over the weekend while the girls shopped. It was a great time for everyone.
