Six months

What?! Six months! Callaway is trying really hard to grow up fast. She is sitting great on her own and she has her two bottom teeth. She still wakes up once most nights but right now I don't really mind because she is my last baby. Plus she is not much of a cuddler so I will take all the alone cuddle time she will give me. She weighed 15 lbs 15 oz and is still a shortie measuring 24.5 inches. The boys came along for her 6 months shots and they both felt bad when she started to cry but it was only for a few seconds. I also left her overnight for the first time. Tony and I went to Minneapolis with Kelly and Jeremy. We went to a Twins game and out for supper. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary.

Madden baseball

It was finally Madden's turn at baseball. He has been waiting years for this! He did great and Heisman helped "coach" a little.

This year Heisman played coach pitch and Tony was the one of the coaches. It was so fun to see how much the boys improved and fun. Callaway and Madden made it to almost all 16 games! Heisman's favorite position is 1st base.

5 months

Callaway is getting so fun these days! She laughs, rolls around, grabs everything and puts it in her mouth. She has a tooth already! What?! Another one is not far behind. She still doesn't sleep all night but for right now, I don't mind. We'll see how I feel when I go back to work. She has started cereal and vegetables. So far her favorite are sweet potatoes. I was able to weigh her at Heisman's 7 year well check and she was 15 lbs 10 oz. The boys continue to love on her, sometimes a little too much!

Heisman is seven!!!

Wow! How fast did the last seven years go? Heisman is now seven and getting tall. He weighs 60ish pounds and is 4 ft 2 in tall. We celebrated with some neighbor friends on his birthday and then had a bowling birthday party with some school friends. It was a great weekend! He has lost 3 teeth this summer (5 total) and continues to be an awesome big brother, most of the time. There are some battles between him and Madden (and me as well) but he is amazing with Callaway. He's into Pokemon and dinosaur games on his phone and the kid could watch Netflix all day if I let him. This birthday was a little hard to buy presents because he's not into toys anymore (such a big kid). We love our first baby so much!!!

Algona

We went to Algona a few times this summer. The first time we went to the pool, watched the sunset, played with the kittens and also played some video games. The second trip we had a fun afternoon at Carter's house. Everyone caught a fish!!! Plus he has an awesome water slide and water trampoline. He offered to take us on his boat for a little tubing but we were having so much fun jumping in and swimming that we will have to wait until next time. 

4 months

Callaway is getting more fun every day! She rolled over for the first time on Tony's birthday and now all she wants to do is hang out on her tummy. She has even decided that she wants to sleep on her tummy too. She doesn't take the pacifier much anymore and has found her thumb. She only seems to find her thumb when she's in her bed though. She still has days when she fights her naps but I'm starting to get things figured out with her. She wakes up once a night now. We had her 4 months well check and she's just a little peanut. The boys were both pretty big (80-90 percentile in height and weight) but she's only 14 lbs 7 oz (52%) and 24 in (25%). She was very brave during her shots and only cried for a few seconds. We also started some baby cereal and so far it's just a mess, but fun! Her new favorite thing is to chew on everything! From feet to toys, that girls puts everything in her mouth!
