We are so excited for summer! We started May off with delivering our butterfly May Day treats.

Madden started peanut desensitization. Eek! Just a really small dose of a liquid with peanut oil. He said it tasted like orange pop. We will do weekly visits to the doctor and daily doses at home for the next six months! We have about 8 weeks of this solution and then switch to peanut flour. He had to do a blood draw aka big arm poke. He amazes me every time with this! Barely bothers him. He's so brave!

Heisman has been busy with baseball, especially since he is playing on two teams. Diamondbacks for little league and the Magic for USAAA. We weren't really sure if we wanted to tackle both teams this summer but Heisman was asked to join the Magic and we couldn't really pass it up.... Heisman had a GRAND SLAM during one of his Magic games!! It was so exciting and it was the first home run for his team. So cool!

Madden had preschool graduation and it was adorable! He is definitely the biggest kid in his class and has a lot of friends. His teachers love him as well. His class sang a few songs and they each got a diploma. We all celebrated with cake. He is ready for kindergarten!

Madden started baseball and his team is also the Diamondbacks. He had to play another year of tee ball, which he was not excited about, but he does have some friends on his team. He is ready for something more and stands out for sure. He's pretty good!

April 2018

We had a busy April. Took the boys roller skating. Heisman had been a few times before with school daycare but this was a first for Madden. Heisman could get around pretty well and thank goodness we had the skate trainer for Madden. Both boys had fun but Mom was definitely the best skater! Easter was cold and windy which meant no very many people at the egg hunt. This allowed us to have a ton of candy!!! Too much candy! Heisman started Magic baseball and also had his first communion. The boys got their spring pictures taken at school. Madden got his taken since he will be starting kindergarten in the fall.

March 2018

San Diego for spring break! We took a trip to see Kristi and Mark and enjoy some sunny, warm weather. We spent some time at the beach and luckily Kristi got the boys some wet suits because the water was pretty chilly. Callaway enjoyed playing in the sand. We visited the aquarium and the safari park and watched Mark launch some really cool rockets. It was fun to get away and spend time with family.

Madden had a run in with the driveway. He says it was Heisman's fault and Heisman said Madden just tripped over the ball. Either way, he ended up with a scrape on his face and a chipped tooth. Luckily, it's a baby tooth and the root wasn't exposed so no emergency trip to the dentist.
