Traditional Bass Pro Santa and bowling. Heisman asked for Xbox Live and some games. Madden asked for a computer. Callaway asked for a kitty and dragon.

Warm enough on Christmas Day to try the new roller blades out!

We also had a scary accident while at family Christmas. The whole family was getting ready to take a photo. The kids were running around and being silly. Madden was running out of the living room and Cale gave him a little push when he ran past. The little push knocked him into a glass decorative vase (which then slammed into the wall and shattered). We knew he needed stitches or glue. Lots of blood but he was super brave! He only cried a few minutes. Since we were in Algona, the ER only had one other patient. We ended up with glue and were only there half hour. He will always have this Christmas present from Cale. Ha!

We went to Kansas City for a wedding

Madden has been having tummy troubles since July. He has been throwing up daily. No fun! We are doing a scope to check out things inside his stomach and throat.

He was super brave but woke up super crabby!!! Poor kid. We found out he has EOE. Basically irritation in his esophagus. This is most likely from his peanuts. Eek. He now does an inhaler to help with the EOE. Also still maintains with 6 peanuts a day. We enjoyed the new Grinch movie after school one day.

Madden turns 6!!! We celebrated with neighbor friends on his birthday and a bowling party with school friends later. This was his first friend party and he had a blast.

September brings fall sports. Flag football for Heisman and soccer for Madden. We tried a new flag football league and it was ok. Heisman is definitely one of the fastest kids out there and it was fun being on a smaller team with chosen friends. Madden dominates in soccer and scores multiple goals every game. He's fast and has great footwork. Callaway is drug to each event with a bag of snacks and toys.

Every year our fun summer has to come to an end and we got back to school. This year Madden will join me and Heisman at Westwood!!!! Kindergarten (Miss Olson) and third (Mrs Herring). Callaway will be the only one at Apple Tree.
