Both boys played basketball over the winter season and we were so impressed with each of them. Heisman played in a more serious league this year and it was like "real" basketball. His team of 1st graders often played against second grade teams. It was really hard at times! There were a few games that the score was awful (for us) but the boys hung in the game and gave it all they had. By the end of the season, they had beat every 1st grade team in the league and even one 2nd grade team! It was really fun to watch them grow and Heisman is really starting to get his groove out on the court. I can't wait to see what he can do next year!
Madden played parks and rec. He was super lucky and ended up being on the same team as his best friend from daycare. They loved it but also got a little silly sometimes. He was awesome! You can tell that he has been watching and waiting his turn to play. He scored multiple times in every game, gets in there for the rebound and is getting better at his dribbling. This kid is going to be something big!.... side note... Mom fail on the pictures! Poor middle child. I video taped him one day and completely forgot to take pictures with my camera. Sorry Madden!!
