6 months

Six months already?!  Wow, time flies!  Heimsan is starting to move around a lot more.  He's not crawling yet but he rolls and spins all over the place.  I'm sure he'll start crawling in the next few weeks so we need to baby proof the house!  He's been eating cereal for awhile and he started eating veggies now too.  He was a little unsure the first night but now he loves them.  He also talks up a storm.  It's mostly just baby talk but for about a week straight, all he said was,"da da da da."  He kind of stopped saying it and went back to babbling.  I'm waiting to hear, "ma ma ma."

One of our neighbors has a little boy that is two days older than Heisman.  His name is Keaton.  We've been thinking Heisman is a pretty big boy for his age but after seeing Keaton last night, he looks small!

Update...

Heisman is such an active little boy these days! He first rolled over (from back to belly) at 3 months but is now rolling both ways with no problem. The funny thing about the way he rolls is he only rolls over his left side, regardless if he's on his back or belly. I guess this makes things a little easier because he's not rolling all over the place, just back and forth basically.

Heisman is starting to figure things out. I'm such a sucker when he cries and he knows it. He started doing this fake cry. This picture looks like he's really upset but he just makes this face and cries one "wah" and then looks around to see if we noticed. What a stinker :)

He is also getting stronger arms and legs. He's up a lot more on his arms and will try standing on my legs with a little help. Plus, he loves grabbing onto his toes and will occasionally get one his mouth.

Everything is going in his mouth lately and he's such a drooly kid. He was a total crab and had a slight fever at day care the other day so we're thinking he might be starting to teeth.

Anyway, Tony started his new job this week. He is still with Wells Fargo but is now on the bank side of things. His new job is Vice President of Marketing for all of the Iowa and Illinois banks. Nothing really new with me. I only had 3 days of work this week because of the weather. We are now going to school in June. Yuck!

Heisman was 5 months on Dec 22nd! Time is going way too fast!
