Happy 2nd birthday Callaway!!! We celebrated with brownies and presents on the actual day and invited neighbor friends over for cupcakes a few days later. You still suck your thumb, finally started getting some hair, still get lots of ear infections (2nd set of tubes), love your brothers and are starting to be our entertainment and steal the show.

Heisman's basketball team won the league championship!! They were undefeated all season and had so much fun playing together. They've become great friends and so have the parents :)

We took our annual trip to Iowa City to cheer on the Hawkeyes. The kids like the game but might enjoy the hotel a little more.

January 2018

Heisman has been playing basketball for a few months now but Madden has started! Our weekends seem to be filled with basketball. Callaway is such a great spectator. Heisman and his basketball team got a behind the scenes tour at Drake and loved it! They got to throw out t-shirts, meet the players, see the locker rooms and shoot around on the court. Madden is excited to have his best friend from daycare on his team, Brady.  

We checked out a cool new sledding hill with Chelsea. It was fast and fun!

Christmas

Christmas gets a little more exciting every year with the kids understanding all of the Santa magic. We also have our elf, Buster, visit the month of December. We visited Santa a few times this year but the favorite was at Bass Pro because that store is really cool and we stayed for supper and bowling. Heisman asked for a new Xbox game, OverWatch, and Xbox Live. Madden asked for an orange soccer ball and Callaway asked for a baby doll. We had a lot of fun using the Santa tracker on Christmas Eve.
