June

It has been way too long since my last post... 21 days, right Morgan?  :)  June is almost over and this weekend is the 4th of July.  That is usually the halfway point for my summer vacation.  Boooo!!!  We are having a great time this summer!  We've had a lot of playdates, gone to the pool, splash park, LOTS of walks, swing and slide at our neighborhood park.  Heisman has started pointing and yelling when he wants things.  The pointing is kind of helpful but I could do without the yelling.  He also gets upset when he doesn't get his way.  Yikes!  I really enjoy being home with him and I hope time slows down a little.  Enjoy your holiday weekend!!!

Summer is here!!

Heisman really likes his pool!  He's been in it a few times and I'm excited to take him to the big pool this summer.  We did water babies in April/May so that really helped introduce him to the water.  I'm now on summer vacation and I love being home with Heisman :)

First boo boo

Heisman had his first big boo boo over the weekend. He was playing in the kitchen pantry while I was getting lunch ready and he pulled a large soup can out of the shelf and it fell on his foot.  Poor guy!  He cried for a few minutes but he's a tough boy and was fine after a little while.

I Cubs

Tony and Heisman threw out the first pitch at the I Cubs game last Friday night! It was really fun and Heisman was such a good boy. We stayed the entire game and he even enjoyed the fireworks :)

Outside

Heisman loves going outside! He always giggles a little and gets excited when we head towards the door. The first few times out he wasn't too sure about the grass but now he likes it.

Heisman is now 9 months and he had his first sickness over the weekend :(  He got hand foot and mouth from a little friend at daycare.  It's basically a fever and sores on his hands, feet and inside his mouth.  He wasn't a very good eater and he drooled like crazy because of his mouth sores but otherwise it wasn't too bad.  I'm glad he's back to normal!
