June

Summer was off to a slow start weather wise but we are finally out and enjoying it as much as we can!  Madden has been rocking and rolling all over the place and I've been saying for at least a month that he will be crawling soon.... finally this week he is off!  I forgot how much stuff babies get into...Ahhhh!  He also has 4 teeth now! The two on the bottom came right around 6 months (with an ear infection) and the top two came a month later (also with an ear infection)! 

We left the boys at my sisters house last Friday night, my first night away from Madden.  Heisman loved every minute of it!!  Video games, water slide/pool, ice cream, movies, wrestling and cousins!  Madden did well but was kind of putting up a fight going to bed.  It was nice to have an adult night out!

This was the first day we had planned on going to the pool and I told Heisman he had to nap first.  He was so excited for the pool!!!

Professional 6 months.... a little late!

Soccer

I'm sure I will post more on soccer later but Heisman had his first game last weekend.  He had a lot of fun and so did we!  It was hilarious though because he probably stopped ten times during the game to wave at me and blow me a kiss!!!  Soooo cute and it also drove Tony crazy!  He did score one goal too.  We look forward to the next game.

Snow in May?!

We had a crazy snow storm the first week of May and Heisman had to play outside one last time.  It was a big wet mess but he had a blast.  I'm pretty sure it was raining a little at the time he went out because Madden and I stayed inside.  Madden loves to watch Heisman and thought it was funny when he would throw snow at the door :)

6 months

Madden is 6 months!  Crazy!  He was 19 lbs 11 oz and 27.5 in.  One pound bigger than Heisman at this age but same length.  Madden had his first ear infection :(  He was waking up a little at night (which he hasn't done that in months) and had a fever one day.  When I took him to the doctor for his 6 month check up, he said that he had an ear infection.  He also got his two bottom teeth so now he is drooling a little less but chewing on everything!  He rolls and shuffles all over the place and will probably be crawling soon.  Heisman better hide his toys!!

Dino

Sue the T. Rex was at the science center this spring so we had to go check it out!  Heisman loves dinosaurs and he thought Sue was pretty cool but he wished there were more dinos to see.  He did get to dig for dino bones with his buddy Gavin so that was fun too.

April

Just a few more Easter pics... Our neighborhood park did a little egg hunt the week after Easter.  It was originally planned for the weekend before but it was snowing so they postponed!  Heisman was still able to be a part of the little kid hunt.  There weren't very many kids so he got a ton of eggs.  He even asked me if he could be done because his bucket was full!  We stayed for a little while and enjoyed the swings :)

Madden has been trying some veggies and he was not a fan of carrots the first time!  I think he really just wanted them warmed up because the second time he was fine.

Flash the super hero made an appearance the other day!  Heisman was playing outside with the neighbor kids (for 4 hours!!!) last weekend.  It's awesome to have such great kids around and to be able to send Heisman in the back yard to play without one of us.  The girls wanted to play some girls only game so Heisman came inside and said, "Mom, the girls want to have girls club and they said no boys could play.  I'm going to put on one of my super hero costumes so they won't know who I am!"  He wore that thing for a good hour!

Lastly, Heisman was always sleeping in the most awkward positions.  Madden sleeps on his tummy 90% of the time.  He also sucks his thumb!  I often find him face down (which I don't like and need to ask his doctor about that).  Most of the time I will roll him to his side a little or try to turn his head.  Anyway, this is what he's like....
