Allergic reaction

Last week Heisman had an ear infection (only his 2nd one) so I was giving him amoxicillin.  After a week of medicine, he broke out in hives!  I took him back to the doctor and it turns out he's allergic to amoxicillin.  Luckily his ear infection was cleared up so he didn't have to switch to a different medicine.  So I just stopped giving him his medicine and he gets some benadryl to help with his hives.  He is acting normal and doesn't seem to mind the hives.  Thank goodness because they look horrible!  Poor guy :(

Halloween

We had a great time trick or treating this year.  My sister, brother in law and nephews came to our house and went out with us.  Heisman was a tiger and I think he had a lot of fun.  We went out for about an hour and then went home and handed out candy.

First haircut

Heisman's hair was getting a little long and some strangers had questioned if he was a boy or a girl :(  So we decided to get it cut.  He did great and he looks like such a big boy now but I really miss his long hair!  His next hair cut won't be until summer!  Ha, we'll see!

Pumpkin patch

Last week Heisman and I went to the pumpkin patch with some friends.  We were able to go on a Friday morning (I don't work Fridays!!!) so it wasn't very busy and it was a beautiful morning!  We had so much fun :)

Band Day Parade

A few weeks ago Heisman and I went to Algona for the Band Day Parade!  Heisman loves music so he really enjoyed the parade.  Plus, he got to eat a little candy too :)
