At the office

On Heisman's birthday we had lunch at Tony's office.  Heisman wore his tie (just like dad) and he had a lot of fun exploring!

Whew!  Work is hard.  I need a nap!

Trip to the ER....11 stitches

Don't worry, I'm not talking about Heisman!  It was actually me that made the trip to the ER and left with 11 stitches!  Here is the story.... Tony was in a wedding this weekend and was at the rehearsal.  My friend Kim came over to watch Heisman so I could join Tony and the rest of the wedding party for supper.  I was moving stuff around in the fridge and a beer bottle fell off the shelf and broke on the floor.  It must have shattered right next to my foot because it sliced the side of my foot really bad!  I didn't even feel it but it was bleeding like crazy!  Kim quickly picked up Heisman and made sure he was ok (he was only covered in beer).  We looked at the cut and all of the blood and instantly decided that I needed to go to the ER.  She wanted to drive me but I asked her to stay home with Heisman.  So I wrapped a towel around my foot and drove to the ER.  I ended up getting 11 stitches.  It is a little sore and I am kind of walking with a limp because it hurts to put too much weight on it.  I will go back to the doctor next week and get the stitches taken out.  I was so thankful that Heisman didn't get hurt and that Kim was here!  Thanks Kim :)
